Stablecoin Settlement Readiness Checklist
USDT or USDC can simplify some settlement flows, but they do not remove treasury, compliance, liquidity and operational decisions.
Settlement asset
Define whether the flow requires USDT, USDC or another option accepted by the parties and providers.
Wallets and custody
Define ownership, access controls, whitelisting, signing, recovery and operational responsibilities.
Network and liquidity
Confirm the supported network, liquidity availability, operating costs and process for moving or converting funds.
Compliance
Align KYB/KYC, screening, transaction monitoring, jurisdictions and the policies of involved providers.
Reconciliation
Match deposits, conversions, fees, payouts and settlement to merchant records.
Treasury
Define target balances, settlement frequency, fiat conversion where applicable and working-capital needs.
Contingency
Prepare alternate routes for wallet, network, provider, liquidity or settlement when a dependency fails.
